JVM Compability Error

Hi, I have been trying for a couple days to solve the JVM compatibility error.

I get the error when I try to run a job from my imported Talend workspace.

The Java I have installed is of version 11. The compiler is set to 1.8 by default.

I've tried several things:
- Modifying a configuration file of Talend and then adding a Java path as well.

- Getting third party modules to see if it would help resolve the error.

- Reinstalling Java and Talend. I also tried different versions, such as 8 and 22.

I've also tried different solutions that I could find online but none of them seemed to work.

Please help, I can also supply more information if needed.

Kind regards,
J.

Hi

Can you please upload the Studio Support logs? ( Go to Studio Help -> Support logs -> Save it with a name as .zip file).

Regards

Shicong

@JurajkoDS From the log file, I see this line "The import routines.DateTimeFormatException cannot be resolved" has the compilation error, but I don't understand how this routine comes, it isn't built-in routine. Only this job has the compilation error or all the jobs has the same error?

All of the jobs have some kind of an error and all of the errors refer to JVM compability error.

This looks like an installation issue. I noticed you install studio into a path contains blank space. Generally, we recommend installing studio to a short directory and containing no special characters such as blank space. Can you try to install studio again?
