"The repository URL is invalid" - Subversion error

is there a document around there for configuring Subversion with v11.1 ? I'm getting this error and I have no idea how to solve it. Thanks!

This is probably because your repository URL is invalid (maybe you used https:\\ instead of https://?). In a command prompt, try

svn list your repository URL

to check if your repository URL is valid or not.

Juan,

Did you ever get this solved? I'm getting the same error. I know my URL is correct, so that's not the problem.

Thanks,

Leilani

Hi!

i was recieving the same error whilst running Win 8 (64 bit) with the tortoise client installed.

however when i changed machine to windows 7 (32 bit version) of QV Client 11.2 and installing the tortoise client it worked.

so either the problem resides in the different bit versions or this is a problem with Win 8.

i believe the latter, as win 8 also had problems with other VPN connections that work just fine on the win 7 platform.

Good luck.

Brad

I had the same error until I installed TortoiseSVN and put the right path to the svn.exe in settings. Firstly I choose only ..\bin folder and have error msg. Than I add svn.exe and had no problem.
