How to show "millions" or "thousands" in Bar Chart value on data point

hi guys, there is a nice function in bar charts: "numbers" here it is possible to change the "thousants", or "millions" symbol, which is then displayed on the axis. But how to get the same effect on the "value on data point" which can be found under the expression tab? I have some bar charts with some very long figures as data point and that does not look good..... thanks

If using a Bar Chart try using a Combo Chart and adding an additioanl expression with bar / line unchecked and only Values on Data Points and an expression thatt limits the length of your numbers:

=sum(Sales)/1000000&'m'

Similar to this example: http://community.qlik.com/thread/51109

It's a bit of a cowboy workaround but it should work.

All the best,

Dear Matthew, thanks but somehow this  -> &'m' always gave me an error in your example.  I fixed it with "Chart Properties" "number" "Format Pattern" there I included "mil" and it worked fine after deviding the figures.  regards Jan
