All values below limit on pie chart

Hi,

An error message comes up on one of the pie charts on my document - "All values below limit" when I select one record from the dimension.
It doesn't appear when the pie chart is looking at all of records in the dimension.

The max number of blocks for the pie chart is 500 and the lower limit on block area is 0.0002.

Has anyone ever came across this issue before?

Hi,

You may get negative value for the expression which pie chart not able to display.

Check the value by using the expression in text object on selecting one record from that dimension.

fash change the model to pivot/straight table and it will show you the values... Looking at dataset, you will be able to make a judgement call, if it is a data issue or not

Hi,

Pie cannot be drawn if there are more values like 500, even if and the lower limit on block area is 0.0002.  Because it is difficult to draw a pie chart for this much of values.

Better to limit the chart to 10-50 and display the other values as others or use Straight/Pivot/Bar chart.

Regards,

Jagan.

If there are so many values that nothing is above the display threshold, then what would be the value of a pie chart in this case anyway.  Wouldn't it be better to display in a bar chart or straight table?
