It would be great to have the ability to program an extension object that can be embedded inside a cell in a straight or pivot table. Also, the ability to do things like Trellis an extension object we come in handy as well. We would like our users to be able to create their own bookmarks but not have the ability to create objects on the models yet by making use of the repository. Currently the only way to disable the repository is to disable 'Allow server objects' which disables bookmarks as well. There should be an option to disable either or both but they should not be linked.
In the process of moving a lot of code from extensions into variables, it would be neat with a search and replace desktop functionality for variables as it works for expressions. For example, when I want to change a field name in all variables. /Robert

Hi, there is no way to detect whether an application is viewed with the "small device" or the "full browser" version. This is needed to control the visibility (e.g. conditional view) and the layout of objects (e.g. change colors) in the different modes of view. - Ralf

Hi, I have seen another idea which is similar, but not sure if it's the same and it was closed anyway. In the pivot table the total line is not fixed at the bottom, so the users have to scroll all the way at the bottom to see it, it's the same for the top. This works in straight table but it does not work in pivot table. -Maulik

After configuring a "Predefined Values Only" input constraints on a variable (through the input box object), you can't review/change them in the Variable Overview.
Change the modal dialog boxes in qlikview developer (e.g., document properties, variables, edit module, table viewer) to tabs or windows. This will make it much easier to navigate the document and make much better use of screen space (the variable overview dialog box is approximately 500x400 but the monitor resolution is 1280x1024). Currently the grid container does not show any additional sheet objects beyond the number of cells defined in the grid. If the grid container has a scrollbar then more objects can be placed in the grid and the user can scroll to view the objects.
In an environment with a lot of tasks triggered after eachother in a kind of "chain" there would be great with ability to manually run only one of the tasks, without triggering the following tasks. It is possible to run one task manually today, but when it is finished the next task will also be triggered. It's possible to avoid by disabling the following trigger, but in an environment with houndreds of triggers, that is not a good solution. If you rightclick on the task today you get a men …
Adding this check box to the right click menu would greatly increase design time as you would no longer have to go through tabs to get to this check box.
Trigger option should be available in list box also. if we want to trigger event based on seelction in list and same event to be reflect in list box . currently trigger option is not available in list box so we are not able to fire event based on selection in list box.
Provide a checkbox to specify which object in a container is by default the one that is opened. It may not be the one at the top of the sort order. This would remove the need to use trigger actions.
