Hi All,
How to add the Indian Rupees Symbol instead of UD dollar Symbol. Can some one please help me out!
Thanks and Regards,
Rikab Kothari
In Chart Properties, go to the Number tab. Select the field, select Money, and change the dollar sign under Format Pattern to whatever you want. I used Yen and it seemed to work fine.
Hi OneThreeFour,
Thanks for your help! But I still have some doubt on above solution provided. Let me know how you have put the Yen symbol in the format pattern. Did you selected the Yen symbol anywhere or did you typed it. If you have typed it let me know where you have typed it and if you have selected it let me know where you have selected it.
Waiting for you reply!
you have to type in properties -> Number -> Money-> Symbol box.
No I tried it's not happening. Can you please attach any sample application which has Rupee Symbol or else can you try to make the same on in the attached application(Instead of Rp put Rupee Symbol)
Dear Rikab,
Step : paste rupees symbol in excel or word. then paste that symbol in application where I paste Yen Symbol.
Regards
Sunil Jain.
Hi Sunil,
I did the same it is not happening! You can check the screen shot and application for the same.
Hi Sunil!
Many thanks to you! It is working!
Previously I forgot to select the font that's why it didn't shown the symbol.
When I followed the same steps in one of my other document it is not showing the Rupee Symbol. Please look into the screen shot for reference and have attached the same application in which I have tried.
I found this symbol र. When I paste it in the number properties it appears as a square, but in the gui it appears to display fine.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with Rupees. :/
Rikab ,
main reason is qlikview does not support the rupees tohiba font . to add that font i have to do research .
pls give me some time.
It's ok if it doesn't appear in the number properties. But I don't think it is appearing in the GUI either. Please check whether it is displaying in the above attached document GUI's.
Please let me know the outcome once you have done the same.
It's ok! Take your own time and let me know. I am also doing the same thing here. If I found any solution I will let you know and requesting you to do the same.
Does any one having any solution to overcome from this problem?
